Nerijus Kaziela is the Founder, Director, and Lead Fact-Checker of Banish Cancer, a registered charity and Public Benefit Organization (PBO) in Lithuania (Registration Number: 305706884). Operating fully online to support families globally, he fuses crisis logic, adult-learning science, and digital systems engineering to translate complex clinical research into clear, evidence-based support.

The Survival Journey

As a Stage IVA / Grade 3 oncology survivor, Nerijus built this organization from personal necessity. In 2020, he underwent 35 radiotherapy sessions and 11 continuous chemotherapy cycles delivered simultaneously. Three weeks after completing treatment, a severe COVID-19 infection forced him into absolute isolation — exposing the urgent need for better emotional support and plain-language cancer education.

The Educational & Systems Foundation

Crisis-logic foundation

With nearly 20 years in front-line security operations and 9 years teaching PSA-aligned qualifications — including QQI Level 4 Security Qualification and QQI Level 5 Security Qualification — Nerijus applies these regulated, PSA-required modules as the foundation of his structured, rule-driven decision architecture, which directly informs the logic behind the Fear Response AI.

Adult Learning & Strategic Instructional Design

He holds QQI Level 6 qualifications in Train the Trainer, Supervisory Management, and Manual Handling Instruction. This advanced instructional and strategic framework shapes Banish Cancer’s entire educational architecture — from caregiver biomechanics and safe-handling mechanics to structured decision-making models, micro-course design, and the logic foundations used across the charity’s digital systems.

Digital Engineering & System Architecture

Through nine years of web architecture and systems engineering at Nkaziela Digital, Nerijus built the charity’s full technical infrastructure in-house, including the Fact-Verified Blog, micro-course platform, and the system backbone powering the Fear Response AI.

The Triangulation Method

This multidisciplinary foundation led to the creation of the charity’s Triangulation Method — a three-stage validation system requiring Cross-Verification, Consensus Reporting, and Evidence-at-Time checks before any medical information is translated and published.
