About Our Charity
Banish Cancer Charity (Registered Number: 305706884) was born from the lived experience of our founder, Nerijus Kaziela. As a cancer survivor who understood how long and lonely the nights can feel, Nerijus launched this mission out of that personal struggle: to make sure no one faces those hours in silence again.
We built our work on a Steel Triangle that restores the three things cancer breaks first — knowledge, clarity, and stability. Through clear self-education courses, evidence-checked guidance from our blog, and a dedicated Fear Response AI (FRAI) night-support stabilisation tool, we give patients a structure they can rely on when everything feels unstable.
Our focus is on the moments when cancer pressure peaks — when information is confusing, when fear surges, and when decisions feel impossible. By neutralizing that fear, we allow patients to regain their footing and move forward. By combining compassion with technology, we support patients across all three points of the Steel Triangle, day and night, so no one faces those hours alone.
As a registered charity, we are committed to transparency and sustainability. Every step we take is guided by the belief that emotional support is as vital as medical care. Our vision is simple but powerful: a world where no patient lies awake in the dark feeling forgotten.
